Thanks for visiting! I intend to showcase my projects and experience while also providing an outlet for my academic interests.

About Me

I’m a USMC Captain and engineer with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. In my role as the Expeditionary Energy Officer at Marine Corps Systems Command, I support the Fleet Marine Force and program offices by analyzing energy challenges, recommending technical solutions, and improving the efficiency and resilience of Marine Corps systems.

My academic interests lie in guidance, navigation, and control; trajectory design and optimization; sensor fusion; and decision-making for autonomous systems. I am particularly interested in pursuing a PhD in one of these areas to deepen my work in autonomy and control theory.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and reading. I’m currently working through Hemingway’s collected short stories, and my wife Katelyn and I have taken up reading books aloud to each other. Right now, we are working on the manga, Delicious in Dungeon. At home, we share a life with three cats who give our home a perpetual Halloween feel.

We adopted these two girls while in Monterey.
The Maryland CDS delivered him to us on day two of our move.
